AVR changed to AVRN on the pink sheets

Well, the only stock I currently own might seek Chapter 11. All ethanol companies are hurting right now due to gas and oil prices being so low, very little margins, and huge debt acquired during the peak oil price timeline. I only own 1,129 shares of this company and even though this could be some nice beer money, I am just going to hold onto it just in case the company gets more financing. This would make for a nice price jump in the stock price. I still believe in ethanol and is only a matter of time before the government really gets behind these companies and stops allowing them to fail. VSE has gone under and now it could be AVRN. Something has got to give. Once again I keep breaking my own rules set by myself in trying to become more disciplined and be more like a day trader and try not to hold stocks over night. I am going to try to focus more on making quick flips, taking profits, and moving on to the next one.

Stem cell stocks have a fakeout breakout...Ethanol on the way up!

Watching the market today while at work goes to show you that this is a traders market. "Buy the dips and sell the rips" as Jeff Macke says on Fast money. Even though we trade penny stocks, the overall market does have a psychological effect on us pennystockers. Just look at overall volume on stocks under 5.00. Its wayyy down. People are just scared to be in any stocks right now. I usually try not to be in stocks too long as my past experiences have always led to losses but i see ethanol differently. Ethanol has hit a bottom and is at a great buying level. Most ethanol stocks have started to gain ground and start to reverse the trend. Even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she thinks an increase in the percentage of corn-based ethanol should increase. This should be the start to a nice spark to this upcoming ethanol blast. So check out this 5 day chart of AVR: Its building strength and on the verge of taking off. Lets Go!

Sold MYNG...picked up more AVR for upcoming ethanol boom

Thats right, im out of MYNG....volume has died way down and sick of camping on this one. Until there is news, im staying away from this one. I picked up some more shares of AVR. I have a total of 1129 shares now. I dont want to use any more of my buying power in case I see an opportunity on another play. Anybody have any good picks for this next week?
